As a part of the Euro NCAP Assisted Driving campaign, several test cases were developed to assess the assisted-driving functionalities of today’s available systems. Longitudinal test cases primarily focus on adaptive cruise control (ACC) performance in a highway environment. Lateral test cases test lateral control or steering.
