Top executives see AI as a crucial competitive parameter in the industry - but lack the right competencies.
Potentials, growth and funding proposals
Danish industrial companies face significant opportunities with artificial intelligence (AI), but also substantial challenges. According to a report from Siemens, 87% of top executives see great or considerable potential in implementing AI solutions. One third see AI as an opportunity for increased productivity, new business opportunities and services, while one quarter see economic growth opportunities with the implementation of AI in the production. All top executives consider the technology a crucial competitive parameter for the future.
But many companies struggle to get started. Half see lack of technological knowledge as the biggest barrier, and two out of three lack qualified employees and candidates with the right AI competencies.
The report highlights relevant Industrial AI opportunities but also information about the possibilities that exist for seeking funding and support for AI projects through government and EU programmes.
