On-premises Designcenter software offers three preconfigured solutions: Designcenter Standard, Designcenter Advanced, and Designcenter Premium targeted to specific product development disciplines and issues.

You can extend and improve the functionality of the Designcenter solutions with over 140 add-on modules that enable solutions to be configured to specific requirements with specialized design tools and numerous solutions that are part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.

Licensing options for Designcenter add-on modules

Extend the functionality of the on-premises Designcenter solutions (Designcenter Standard, Designcenter Advanced, and Designcenter Premium) with add-on modules. We offer two licensing options for Designcengter add-on modules:

• Access over 140 add-on modules through value based licensing (token licensing)
• Perpetual licensing

Add-on modules are also available for the cloud-SaaS Designcenter X solutions exclusively through Designcenter X Value Based Licensing.

• The total number of users who will need access to the total pool
• What would be your typical ‘daily use’ Designcenter products, and what would you define as the ‘occasional use’ Designcenter products
• A Value Based Licensing pool is a viable choice when a wide variety of Designcenter applications are needed to be ran.
