STMicroelectronics validates Advanced Eldo Platform reliability features

The STMicroelectronics® Smart Power Technology AMS verification team works closely with us to develop advanced features for the Eldo Platform to bring unique and powerful solutions for verifying the reliability of IC designs. The latest innovations from this collaboration results in two new features:

• Eldo Functional Mode

• Fast Monte Carlo analysis

These two features attack the simulation speed and accuracy required to fully verify IC reliability for designs implemented in advanced processes. For STMicroelectronics’ Smart Driving and IoT initiatives, simulation accuracy cannot be compromised. Yet, the sheer number of simulations required to accurately prove reliability means that traditional simulation performance cannot meet project schedule demands.

In this paper, the STMicroelectronics team presents the results of their deep evaluation of the Eldo Functional Mode and Fast Monte Carlo solutions that prove the value of these new features within their verification flow.
