Connecting data centers and district heating networks

Working towards net-zero and improved energy efficiency, the two energy-intensive sectors, data centers and district heating, are expected to grow significantly in the coming years. Coupling data centers with heat networks may reduce society’s carbon footprint significantly. Reusing heat from all European data centers could save more than 10 million tons of CO₂ annually.
