Microsoft Azure and Siemens EDA collaborate in a new cloud environment to accelerate your cloud adoption

Tempo estimado de exibição: 18 minutos
Microsoft Azure has been an industry leader in cloud computing from the start. Joe Tostenrude from Microsoft explains how the Azure environment simplifies the use of Siemens EDA tools in the cloud, allowing for fast, automated deployment and use. Chris Clee from Calibre Design Solutions discusses the use of Calibre tools in the cloud, and how the cloud-optimized Solido Characterization Suite helps accelerate tapeout schedules. Learn how Microsoft Azure and Siemens EDA provide a quick jumpstart into IC design and verification in the cloud and help you collaborate securely using your favorite Siemens EDA tools.

Cloud computing with Microsoft Azure and Siemens EDA

From participation in the Rapid Assured Microelectronics Prototypes (RAMP) industry consortium to ensuring automated deployment of scalable cloud compute and storage, Microsoft Azure and Siemens EDA have collaborated to simplify entry into IC design and verification in a cloud environment, while ensuring engineering productivity and secure collaboration, and optimizing the cost model for design companies. Companies can use their existing Siemens EDA tools and licenses (including the Calibre nmPlatform, Solido toolsuite, Analog FastSPICE tools, and others) in the cloud to speed up design iterations and reduce time to market.
