Working from the simple RL circuit created in another video, a more realistic drive circuit for our inductor using analog electronics components is created. We monitor the power dissipation of the different parts in the circuit and use the waveform viewer to account for all the power. The “hot part monitor” in the library is added to the circuit to see the temperature of power MOSFET in our design in different scenarios.
