Do more with less with simulation on the cloud

An infographic of a man plugging a computer on the cloud.

Nucleus research interviewed customers who transitioned high-performance computing (HPC) workloads for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation to the cloud, uncovering significant benefits in scalability, efficiency and cost savings. The firms reported the ability to run 10 – 20 simulations in parallel, a capability that reduced turnaround times for critical R&D simulations.

This enhancement in computational capabilities was complemented by substantial financial efficiencies, including cost savings around hardware cluster leasing, configuration services, FTEs and power consumption, leading to a reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) following deployment for all interviewed customers.
