As a global tech leader, Siemens recognizes the urgency of biodiversity loss and the value of proactive stewardship. In 2021, Siemens conducted its first science-based biodiversity footprint assessment with The Biodiversity Consultancy, identifying risks and opportunities across operations and supply chains. By 2025, biodiversity was embedded into the DEGREE framework, with a goal to implement conservation programs at 100% of environmentally relevant sites by 2030.
