Prof. Dr. Siegfried Lemmer - Protection Expert and Lecturer
Siegfried Lemmer graduated and received his PhD at RWTH Aachen University. He joined Siemens AG in 1986. For many years, he was head of the product lifecycle management for protection, where he was deeply involved in the design of the SIPROTEC 4 & 5 relay families. Within a master course for Power Engineering at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, he presented lectures about Protection for nearly two decades. In 2016, he retired from SIEMENS but continued his university lectures.
Gerd Einsiedler - Trainer for Protection and Automation Systems
After graduation from Nuremberg Tech Georg-Simon-Ohm as Engineer in 1993, he has been working in several Siemens departments as Engineering and Sales Engineer. Since September 2023 he is working as a professional trainer for protection and automation systems in Siemens Power Academy.
