Simcenter X – architecture and security

Simcenter X software enables end-to-end computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation workflows in the cloud, using virtual workstation and high-performance computing (HPC) cluster environments. The software has been designed and built to provide simulation users with a robust and dependable cloud simulation service. It is built with infrastructure and services provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The AWS well-architected framework provides AWS partners with guidance and best practices, as well as extensive experience and knowledge, allowing partners to build high-quality applications on AWS. Simcenter X, a component of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, was developed in close collaboration with AWS and in accordance with the combined best practices used by AWS and Siemens.
