A flexible approach to transistor-level EMIR analysis for analog/custom IC designs

Stylized computer screen with hand pushing button. At top left a clock shows time is reduced.

By providing consistency across multiple tools and design environments, the Calibre Interactive invocation GUI enables design companies to use their preferred tools and custom design environments while ensuring the accuracy and speed of their EMIR analyses. CAD teams can deploy Calibre Interactive mPower runset files to manage default mPower Analog EMIR configurations while providing designers with a familiar invocation GUI to not only set up and run mPower EMIR analysis in their preferred design environments, but also cross probe highlight violations from the results browser to the layout window. Implementing this flexible approach allows CAD teams to build a best-in-class EMIR analysis flow by enabling them to combine their preferred extraction tool, circuit simulator, and EMIR analysis tool from multiple EDA tool companies with Calibre quality and performance.

Build a best-in-class EMIR analysis flow with a standardized invocation interface that operates seamlessly across multiple tools and design environments

The Calibre Interactive GUI is tightly integrated with a wide range of custom design tools to allow design companies the flexibility to use their preferred tools with a familiar invocation interface. The Calibre Interactive GUI provides that same standardized invocation interface to designers for mPower Analog EMIR analysis. The intuitive design of the Calibre Interactive mPower GUI allows designers to quickly and accurately enter design information, specify configurations, and manage job submission, minimizing the time and effort required while ensuring data accuracy. CAD engineers can easily manage mPower settings in the familiar Calibre Interactive GUI, reducing support time and costs.
