Shivam completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2016 and worked in India’s power sector for nearly five years before starting his Master’s degree at a German public university in 2021. During his Master’s program, he contributed as a guest scientist at Forschungszentrum Jülich, focusing on his thesis and an extended research project. After earning his Master’s in 2024, Shivam joined Siemens as a Solution Engineer in the technical department, where he is responsible for the Gridscale X portfolio, including tools such as DSA, DLR, and APA

Sajjad Hadavi

Consulting Manager, Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Grid Software, Australia

Sajjad holds a PhD from Monash University, specializing in system strengthening assets—particularly grid-forming technology and small-signal stability in networks with high penetration of renewables.

He has been involved in numerous generator connection studies—mainly for renewable energy resources such as wind, solar, and BESS—across the Australian NEM network at various project stages (R0, R1, commissioning, and R2). Currently, he is the PTI Manager for Australia and New Zealand at Siemens, where he leads a team of engineers providing a range of solutions for power system challenges and supporting the transition to renewable and clean energy.
