Introduction to NX X Essentials
This is a hands-on, instructor-led training course designed to get you started with NX X Essentials®, the latest browser-based computer-aided design (CAD) software solution from Siemens. This course is designed specifically for educators who want to engage and inspire students to learn about 3D product design and apply their design skills to turn ideas into reality.
During this course, you will gain a basic understanding of 3D design with NX X Essentials. You'll work directly with the software and learn everything from sketching and part modeling to assembly and engineering drawing creation to ensure that you develop a solid foundation. Additionally, you will be introduced to basic simulation using the Performance Predictor and built-in machining capabilities.

Course prerequisites
This course is delivered through the Pathway to Learning Engineering application, so it is essential to have an active subscription prior to the first day of the course.
This instructor-led course is hosted virtually. Prior engineering experience is not required.
Note: Please plan to attend each day of your selected course dates, as each day builds on the previous day.
A certificate for continuing education credits (CEUs) will be provided upon completion of the course.
We recommend using a webcam to ensure high-quality resolution. It is also essential to have a working microphone and a mouse. CAD software is nearly impossible to run with a touchpad.
