Key facts and figures on decarbonizing buildings
Together with partner association swisscleantech, Siemens Switzerland has created an Insight Paper on the topic of decarbonization in the building sector.
The building sector is an essential cornerstone for reducing CO2 emissions and is of crucial importance for Swiss climate policy. Decarbonization in this area must be advanced. Smart Building is the magic word for this: it relies on digitization and on an integrated energy management system. Thanks to the valuable data foundation, it is possible to make buildings more cost- and energy-efficient.
The Insight Paper "Digitize to decarbonize" was developed jointly with swisscleantech and shows the importance of the building sector for global decarbonization as well as for the intelligent power grid of the future.
