The network design software SIMARIS Design facilitates electrical network planning, including short-circuit current calculation, on the basis of real products with minimum input and automatic dimensioning of all components. In this training, you will learn to handle the tool on your own and work with it.

Content:

Understanding the SIMARIS Design Software Environment:

  • How to create and define networks (software environment) and different types of loads (motor, outlet and general)
  • How to define operating modes (normal, emergency, etc.)

Simulation of a typical project (MV and LV):

  • Power flow (load capacity, voltage drop, etc.)
  • Short circuit: three-phase (Ik3min, Ik3max), two-phase (Ik2), single-phase (Ik1min, Ik1max)
  • Equipment selection (cables, transformers, circuit breakers, bus ducts, etc.)
